What to do in the event of a loss.
First try to do your best to reduce or prevent further damage if and when possible. Report any Theft or Burglary to the Police quickly.
Prior to reporting a claim to us have the following information so we may provide advice and report the loss to the insurance company.
- Who was involved?
- What happened, what was damaged?
- When it happened, date and time?
- Why it happened – what caused the loss?
- Where it happened?
- Pictures or Police reports providing further information are helpful when you have them.
In the event of an auto collision you should be exchanging your insurance information with the other party. Be sure to get the other drivers information – Full name, Drivers License Number, Insurance Information (insurance company and policy number which is found on their pink card), and their phone number. If the person is not being cooperative obtain their vehicle details and license number and report them to the police.
